Ian has presented papers and conducted workshops at scores of conferences and schools including:
· Business Educators of Australasia (Perth 2014).
· NSW Teachers’ Guild – 5-hour accredited workshops (Sydney 2014).
· Queensland Economics Teachers’ Association.
· Catholic Schools- Diocese of Lismore- – 2-day accredited workshops (Lismore 2014).
· Economics and Business Educators of NSW- Student and teacher workshops (First event 1984 and most recent 2019)
· Metropolitan East Social Science Teachers Association.
· Australian College of Educators.
· State and private schools (Numerous workshops)

From 2004-2009, he worked on a contract basis for the Board of Studies on the Accreditation and Registration process of private schools as a member of the KLA team.
